We Must Pray for Our Daughters
A devotional guide to raising girls with faith, strength, and grace through daily prayers, scripture reflections, and journaling prompts.
As a parent, I know how difficult it is to want the best for our children. The world can be very loud for daughters, with voices telling them they aren’t pretty, strong, or worthy enough. But as mothers, we have a powerful gift: we can pray for our daughters.
We Must Pray: A Mother’s Guide to Raising Daughters of Grace, Strength, and Faith Through Prayer is a friend for every stage of being a mother. This book will give you words, scriptures, and hope to pray over your daughter’s life, whether she is a toddler learning to navigate her world, a teenager figuring out how to make friends and build her confidence, or a young woman following her calling, or an adult dealing with all the pressures of the world.
Inside you’ll find:
• Prayers for your daughter’s identity, friends, relationships, goals, and future.
• Bible verses that encourage her to stay safe, healthy, and strong in her faith.
• Stories from the Bible about women whose lives are similar to those of daughters today.
• Hope notes and affirmations to help you pray with a stronger heart.
• Writing prompts to help build a deeper relationship with your daughter and help you write down your prayers, thoughts, and thanksgiving.
It’s not about being a perfect mother; it’s about being a praying one. You ask God to protect, guide, and love your daughter when you pray. And in His hands, she can become a strong, graceful woman with faith that can’t be shaken.
Great for personal use, small groups, or as a thoughtful gift for a mother or grandmother.

Some West African Proverbs and their Simple Meaning
Our ancestors have thrived on the use of proverbs to educate, provide clarity, and help us understand life for centuries.
These proverbs have been passed down through our generations and are still widely used all over Africa today as an integral part of our culture. In this book, I compile some commonly used West African proverbs and some of my favorite Liberian sayings.
There are millions of African proverbs and other wise sayings, but my intention was to create a short list that is easy to read, remember and pass on. I hope you enjoy reading this short book.
Why I Write
My books are more than words—they are prayer journeys for mothers, fathers, and caregivers. I believe:
Prayer is the most powerful gift we can give our children.
God’s Word is alive and effective, shaping generations.
Every child—daughter or son—is a carrier of purpose, identity, and destiny.
Through devotionals, scripture-led prayers, journaling prompts, and Hope Notes, my mission is to equip you with tools that help you pray boldly and consistently.
Parenting is not about perfection—it’s about persistence in prayer. You don’t have to do this alone. God is with you, and so is a community of praying parents.
Together, let’s raise a generation of sons and daughters anchored in faith and purpose.
